CH Canterbury's Jazzman
AKA: Jazz

Frank and I were fortunate enough to become friends with Pat Jensen early on in my dog showing career. We decided to breed Katy to her dog, AM/JAP CH Larchmont's Jafar. Out of this breeding came the love of my life, Jazzman.

At around five weeks of age Jazz decided that he was going to stay with us. He would play with the other pups and then come climb in my lap and look up at me as if to say, "Am I your boy?" It wasn't long before he was helping me feed the puppies every mealtime. And if I didn't come get him and he knew I was putting the dishes together, we heard about it!

Jazz was my first champion and achieved his final points in style at the Del Valle show in Livermore. The ring was full of tough competition that day, but Jazz rose to the occasion and showed his best. The judge, Larry Adams, chose my Jazz as Winners Dog and Best of Opposite, completing his championship.

Jazz went on to win many Best of Breeds and was invited to the first Eukanuba Invitational. Regretably, Jazz passed away suddenly and is sorely missed.
